feeding experiences?

my daughter will be here in about a month, and i plan on feeding. i was wondering how it went for other mothers not being able to have anyone else help with the every two to three hour feedings. did you worry if your baby was eating enough? when does it stop being every 2-3 hours? do you eventually get a routine down and stop worrying or feeling stressed about it and start being able to sleep again? thanks in advance for any help! : )
