Would this be allowed to air?

If they took a 17 year old kid and put him on tv with out his consent.MAYBE it was a science experiment that was televised, would they beable to do any of this without his consent.Maybe could his parents sign a consent allowing their son to be broadcasted LIVE on tv without his knowledge?
