Cluster feedings: your experiences?

My son is 7 weeks and he does the same thing to me. He will want to nurse what seems like every few minutes for a few hours (3-4 hours)and then he'll go to sleep for about 4-5 hours. I think it's because he's a boy. My first (my daughter) never did this, unless I just don't remember. I hope they stop soon because sometimes I just want to go the bathroom, eat dinner, etc., without having to worry about him. Good luck!
