How much space do deleted and/or recycled items take up on my computer over time?

Simply deleting a doent is like shredding it into hundreds of tiny pieces, they take up less space but the can still be glued together. The amount of space it takes up is so small that its not even relevant to the overall size of the drive, unless you do terabytes of deleting. If thats the case if you wipe the free space in your drive all the shredded files get deleted.
